Shoreditch is famous for its pop up events, restaurants, markets and nightlife.

Art and culture

Shoreditch is London’s creative playground. Street signs, pavements and buildings from Great Eastern Street to Brick Lane have formed a blank canvas for Shoreditch street artists. Old warehouses have been rejuvenated and turned into exhibitions and performance spaces. And around Redchurch Street and Leonard Street, there are plenty of independent and pop up galleries where you can find some of the best inspiration in London.

Nightlife

Shoreditch is famed for its mix of pop up bars in vacant petrol stations, blues bars, rooftop bars, late-night clubs and speakeasy bars. You are only a short walk away from the action. Two of London's biggest venues, XOYO and Cargo, are right around the corner. And Old Truman Brewery is packed full of bars, late-night cafes and venues which welcome the best acts from around the globe onto the Shoreditch scene.

Shopping

There’s something for everyone in Shoreditch with independent boutiques on Rivington Street and Curtain Road to higher end names on Redchurch Street. London's famous Box Park is right next to Shoreditch High Street Station and has an ever-changing mix of pop up shops in their shipping crates.

Food

Whatever food you fancy, whatever hour of the day, Shoreditch is the place to find it. Much of the N1 food scene is focused around world-famous Brick Lane, with London's biggest selection of curry and pop up restaurants. There’s also a 24hr Beigel shop where you have a snack in the early hours of the morning, or the Breakfast Club where you can have breakfast for dinner (just remember to find out the password before you go).
