Things to do in Guildford

History

Climb to the top of Guildford Castle for a 360 degree panoramic view of Guildford and the surrounding Surrey countryside. You can also take a trip through the heritage of your new home at the Guildford Museum.

Music

There’s plenty of live music around Guildford and plenty of local venues for budding musicians attending nearby ACM. The Boileroom, located a short walk away, brings the best up-and-coming acts into Surrey.

Sport

Whether you want to watch or play, Guildford has a lot to offer. Surrey Sports Park is just around the corner, and is the training ground for Rugby Union team, The Harlequins. It also offers high-tech equipment, state of the art pool and classes for Guilford residents to use. When the weather is warmer, why not grab your trunks and enjoy the nearby swimming lido.

Outdoor space

Located in the Surrey Hills area, Guildford has some of the country’s most natural beauty with parks such as Jubilee Wood and Shalford Park just a short walk away. With parks, valleys and wooded country paths, there’s plenty of the open-space that Surrey's famous for. With 50-acres, Stoke Park is Guildford’s largest and best-known park. With ice-skating, swimming, tenpin bowling, a gym and spa on the grounds, it is the perfect location whatever the weather.
